I'm New

We're thrilled that you've decided to worship with us! We know that going to a new place can be intimidating--especially if you don't know anyone. At Northbrook Covenant Church, our desire is that you would have a meaningful encounter with Christ each and every day.  We would love to come alongside you and walk with you in your journey--all are welcome! Our service is at 10:30 AM on Sundays.  Read on for more details.

What to Expect

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Northbrook Covenant Church a great one!

In total, our service is about 60-70 minutes in length. Make sure to grab a bulletin on your way into the sanctuary.  It will tell you what's going on that week in our church and how the service will proceed on that Sunday.  Service begins at 10:30 AM with music led by our worship band (a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary music). The song lyrics are projected onto to screen so you can sing along and engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After a couple songs we will generally have a few announcements and share in a time of prayer together. Our pastor or another speaker will then share a message from God's Word (usually 20-25 minutes) followed by a song or two. On the first Sunday of every month, we offer communion to anyone who confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord.

After worship, all are welcome to join us for coffee hour in the lobby outside of the sanctuary for fellowship and community.  This is a casual space where people from our church enjoy time together.  We'd love a chance to talk to you and get to know you!

What Do I Wear

At Northbrook Covenant Church, we want you to come as your true and genuine self.  Our members are not perfect; Scripture says that we are all broken and fallen people.  We don't want people put on a charade when they come to church.  Wear what you are comfortable in! Some people will wear suits and others will wear jeans.  All are welcome just as you are!

Kids & Youth

Children are more than welcome to join us for the full service!  However, about halfway through our service, the children have the option of going to Kid's Church with other children in grade school.  For younger kiddos, nursery care is available for babies and toddlers.  Our youth students (grades 6-12) join their parents during the Sunday service but are encouraged to come back on Sunday evenings for youth group from 6-8 PM.
